Résumé : | This study relates, among others, the specificity of fetichism as it is practiced in West Africa and in Gabon. This study is extended on forty years observation of native customs and superstitions. It also enlightens the sociological constitution of native African society, the idea of God, polytheism, idolatry, spiritual beings in African religion, their classes and functions, the physical salvation charms and amulets in fetichism. |
